This Apollo 5 Premium Airflow Mattress has been specially designed to offer exceptional comfort for those users who are at Medium to High Risk of developing pressure ulcers and it is also ideal for those with existing tissue damage (pressure ulcer grade 1 to 4).
Supplied with an extremely durable and robust pump that is very easy to use and will offer years of superior service, ensures this Premium Air Flow Mattress is a perfect choice for most care or nursing settings. This exceptional mattress manually adjusts to the user’s body shape and position to provide the best pressure care. Featuring 18 individual cells to provide an extremely dynamic alternating therapy action for lower interface pressures and gentle capillary stimulation. Highly unique this Premium Alternating Pressure Mattress features a humidity management to help prevent tissue breakdown and skin maceration.
As standard the Mattress is supplied with a zipped PU cover which helps to prevent fluid ingress and internal mattress contamination, the cover can be removed with ease for cleaning. To promote optimum hygiene the cover can be simply wiped clean or machine washed up to 95 degrees to aid decontamination. In the case of an emergency, the Apollo Alternating Pressure Mattress has a rapid deflation for quick access CPR.
