Oxford Midi 180 Electric Hoist

The Oxford Midi 180 Electric Hoist has become the versatile industry standard in homecare, offering outstanding performance for a hoist of its size.

The Oxford Midi 180 Electric Hoist with a safe working load of 180kg (27 stone) offers the perfect solution for the community and nursing environments, whilst being sympathetic to the space constraints it might encounter. It also features a detachable battery pack and desktop charger for ease.

This excellent, high quality hoist with SmartTM Monitor diagnostic and service controls as standard, features an excellent emergency lift – this is a spring loaded mechanical lowering device that will only operate under load. The device must be twisted by hand to activate a slow and safe descent. The legs are adjustable using the ergonomic foot pedal and lock into position to avoid inadvertent opening. This foot pedal leg opening mechanism has latch/lock functionality that allows the legs to be opened or closed to gain easy access around objects like beds, chairs and wheelchairs. Easy push, low profile, high-quality castors provide clearance under most furniture and over a variety of surfaces, with the rear castors being braked for added safety during use.

The Oxford Midi 180 Electric Hoist has an angled boom to assist with lifting from the floor, and a large push handle that helps the hoist to be manoeuvred with ease. The hand held controller promotes independent patient use so the carer has both hands free to provide support. The spreader bar is also padded for additional patient safety, and the hoist is available in a choice of three spreader bar sizes.

Optional Class III digital weigh-scale, and available with an electric leg option. Available in electric or hydraulic versions.
