This self propelled Adjustable Shower Commode Chair has an aluminium frame that is both strong and lightweight with comfortable and attractive polyurethane seat, backrest and arms.
This particular model is supplied with a self-propelling wheel conversion kit allowing the user the option of either a self-propelled chair or attendant propelled chair. The kit features two 24″ grey solid tyres, aluminium brakes, height adjustable brackets and quick release wheels. All components are completely waterproof so will remain rust free when used in a shower or wet room. The bright blue seats are easy to see making them ideal for those with restricted vision whilst the armrests flip up and footrests swing away enabling easier access for carers for safe, effortless transfers. When in the chair the armrests offer excellent support to the user”s hands and forearms and the height and angle adjustable footrests provide a suitable platform for the feet. The front two castors lock in both directions and move safely over varied indoor floor surfaces including wet, tiled floors. The chair can be used all standard size toilets and most disabled toilets, or as a commode thanks to the capacious 5 litre potty and lid that is supplied as standard.
