The Morpheus Air Alternating Pressure Mattress is a replacement mattress designed for user’s that are at a High to Very High Risk of developing pressure ulcers.
This highly unique, versatile mattress can be used as both a Static Mattress and a Airflow Mattress, it comes supplied with an extremely easy to use pump that is both quiet and efficient therefore reducing the need and cost of complex training. To provide the user with supreme comfort and pressure care, this Morpheus Air Alternating Pressure Mattress manually adjusts to the user’s body shape and position.
Supplied with 10 individual cells that provide a dynamic therapy alternating action for lower interface pressures and gentle capillary stimulation. When being used as a static mattress the Morpheus Air provides a stable surface for safe patient transfers and handling. This Morpheus Air Airflow Mattress comes supplied with an Extreme Strikethrough Resistant Cover which is made from a highly chemically resistant polyurethane polymer making it highly resistant to abrasion and damage.
When cleaning, the material changes less and therefore it reverts to its natural state very quickly, this the time in which the cover is prone to physical damage is drastically reduced. The cover itself still incorporates all the key features that are required in a mattress cover. It is multi stretch, vapour permeable, waterproof and high frequency welded, reducing the opportunity for accumulation of dust and liquid residues.
