In the event of goods already being delivered to you, you have a legal duty to retain possession of them and to take reasonable care of them. You are under obligation to restore these goods to the supplier (Care Direct) and, under this contract, you will be responsible to send or deliver in person your order back to Care Direct at your own expense, with the exception of faulty or substituted goods, where returns costs will be reimbursed to you. It is your responsibility to make sure goods are delivered back to us and not damaged in transit, in the event of any damage or loss the claim to recover our costs will be raised. All the goods must be returned unused, in their original packaging intact.
All the charges on the cancelled contract (including costs of goods, delivery charges and any taxes paid) will be reimbursed to you as soon as possible or latest within the period of 30 days after the notice of cancellation. The charge to cover the costs of recovering goods might be deducted if you fail to return or do so at our expense.
In the case of Care Direct not being able to supply the product ordered by you we may offer you a substitute, equal in quality and value. Care Direct will meet the cost of returns of such a product if you do not want to keep it.
If you have received a faulty item you must follow the same procedure above and also state the item being faulty and what the fault is. The item will be inspected by our quality team, when we receive it back and either the replacement or full refund, including delivery cost of sending it back offered to you.
*Exceptions to the cancellation rights:
- Goods made to your specification or clearly personalised goods
- Any audio or video recordings, games or computer software if they are unsealed by the customer.
